The Mozart Ensemble - Vienna, play in the tradition of the Viennese classical period. The repertoire includes works of Haydn, Schubert and especially, as in the today's program, Mozart.
The Mozart Ensemble - Vienna consist of four experienced musicians of the Vienna chamber music, who works as soloists too.
Tours and concerts brought them into all European countries, to Japan and South America, where they played almost the entire quartet repertoire.

		Mozarthaus Singerstrasse 7 1010 Vienna, Austria The "Concerts in the Mozart house" take place in the oldest concert hall in Vienna where Mozart used to work and play for Bishop Colloredo in 1781. Mozart lived in this house in the year 1781 from 16. march to 2 may. Just as the church is a fine example of gothic revival, so the Sala Terrena is a baroque jewel that was beautifully restored in the course of the renovation. Today the Sala Terrena is used for musical performances; by the Teutonic Order, and for other purposes of representation. Even Mozart appreciated the wonderful acoustics and the incomparable atmosphere of the "Sala Terrena".
