The Vienna Mozart Orchestra plays in Vienna concerts with
internationally renowned singers and soloists - all in magnificent historical costumes and wigs and
creates a special atmosphere in Vienna's largest and most famous Concert halls, like State Opera,
Musikverein Golden Hall, Hofburg and Konzerthaus.
In the style of "musical academies", as in Vienna concerts were known in Mozart_s time,
the audience enjoy single movements from symphonies and solo concertos, as well as operatic
overtures, arias and duets from especially popular and well-known works.

Vienna Musikverein - Goldener Hall

The Musikverein was inaugurated by Emperor Franz Joseph in 1870. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's
New Year's Concert, broadcasted worldwide every year, is performed in the famous Golden Hall of the
Musikverein. It is also the permanent seat of the orchestra.

The Wiener Konzerthaus was completed in 1913 during the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph and thoroughly renovated from 1998 to 2000.
Today it is the seat of the Viennese Symphony Orchestra, which plays many concerts there throughout the year.
Important festivals such as the Viennese Music Weeks "Wiener Festwochen" take place in the Konzerthaus.
